How Long Have You Been At Your Current Location?
In 2017, we purchased the operation BrightLane which was the previous co-working space in the building. We subsequently did an extensive renovation to the space and re-launched it as iQ in 2018.

How Has The Neighborhood Changed Around You In That Time? What Are You Most Excited About?
When I first moved to Toronto in 1998, I lived two blocks from this building. At the time, the area was quite bohemian with many derelict buildings along King Street West. Today, King West is one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Toronto. It truly is a 24-hour area, with vibrant businesses operating in character buildings to top-rated restaurants and high-end retailers.

What Is The Best Time To Visit The Neighborhood?
During the day, King West is bustling with a corporate crowd filling the area with excitement - it’s a fast-paced area with lots of energy! There are also many excellent restaurants, hotels and social clubs to make your after work visit a memorable experience. Many local establishments in the area offer Happy Hours from 5pm-7pm, bringing the neighborhood together.

Go-to Food Spot
Pizzeria Libretto is in our building and, in my opinion, the best pizza in the city.  (Pro tip –if you like it hot, ask for the chili oil on the side)!

3 Best Things About Working In Your Neighborhood?
For business - A dense concentration of successful companies, from banks to agencies to technology, and everything in between.

For feel - A neighbourhood feel with heritage buildings lining iconic Toronto streets.

For location - Our building is a 10-minute walk or even shorter streetcar ride to the central business district.

Any Other Tips/Tricks?
King Street is a very walkable street with priority given to the streetcar, making it super accessible. There are many hidden gems in the neighbourhood.  Feel free to stop into iQ and speak with any of our staff members, we would be happy to share our staff picks and personal favorites with you!
